Terms of Service — Sweett's MusicAPP
The rules you agree to when you use the app.
Last updated: 2026-10-05
These terms cover your use of Sweett's MusicAPP, a private, personal-use Android music player. By installing or using the app you agree to them.
1. Licence and personal use
The app is provided for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may install it on devices you own and use it for yourself. You may not resell it, redistribute it, or bundle it with another product or service.
2. Your content stays yours
The app plays audio that you already own or are authorised to play, from your device and from services you connect yourself. Nothing in the app requires you to surrender ownership of your files. You are responsible for holding the rights to everything you play through it.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use the app to infringe copyright or any other right of others.
- Do not attempt to bypass the access controls of a streaming service, or to exceed the quota your provider grants you.
- Do not attack, probe or disrupt the project's infrastructure or the APIs it uses.
4. No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The maintainer does not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will keep working with third-party services, which may change their APIs at any time.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the maintainer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, library metadata, scrobble history or account credentials, arising from your use of the app.
6. Third-party services
The app integrates with Google Drive, Telegram, NetEase, QQ Music, Navidrome, Jellyfin and Last.fm. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not by these. Your use of them is your own responsibility.
7. Changes
These terms may change as the app evolves. The updated date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.
8. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to the maintainer through the project's repository.
